Privacy notice

Your information should be handled as deliberately as your project.

This notice describes PullWorx’s information practices for this marketing website and the invitation-only product preview. A signed customer or pilot agreement may provide additional terms for a specific organization.

Scope and operator

This notice applies to PullWorx’s marketing website, preview application, pilot onboarding, and related support communications. PullWorx is intended for business use by electrical contractors and their authorized personnel. Questions or privacy requests may be sent to alec@pullworx.com.

Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with PullWorx, we may collect:

  • Contact and account information: name, business email, business phone number, company, role, business ZIP code, authentication identifiers, and organization membership. The ZIP code is used to derive a state-level sales territory.
  • Pilot application information: approximate annual wire-buy range, workflow challenges you choose to describe, required policy acceptance, and optional marketing-email consent.
  • Project and commercial information: project metadata, pull schedules, specifications, submittals, distributor contacts, quote documents, pricing, approvals, and procurement records.
  • Communications: demo requests, support messages, feedback, and pilot correspondence.
  • Technical and security information: IP address, browser and device information, access times, authentication events, and diagnostic or security logs generated by hosting and application systems.

The marketing website uses a pilot application form but currently has no advertising pixel or analytics service. Do not submit project documents, pricing, passwords, payment information, or other sensitive data through the application form. If tracking or advertising practices change, this notice and any required consent controls must be updated before the new collection begins.

Sources of information

We receive information directly from users and their organizations, from documents users choose to upload, from authorized workspace administrators, from service providers operating the preview, and automatically from hosting, authentication, and security systems.

Why we use information

  • Provide, authenticate, secure, and support PullWorx workspaces.
  • Process user-directed documents and present proposed structured data for human review.
  • Maintain project, procurement, revision, and approval records.
  • Respond to demo, support, privacy, and security requests.
  • Diagnose problems, prevent misuse, and improve reliability.
  • Comply with law, enforce agreements, and protect users, PullWorx, and others.

How information is disclosed

We may disclose information to infrastructure, hosting, authentication, document-processing, communications, and professional-service providers acting for PullWorx; to an organization’s authorized workspace users and administrators; when directed by the customer; in connection with a business transaction subject to appropriate protections; or when reasonably necessary for legal compliance, safety, fraud prevention, or protection of rights.

PullWorx does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. The marketing site does not use targeted-advertising cookies. If that changes, PullWorx must provide any notices and opt-out mechanisms required by applicable law before enabling the new practice.

Retention and deletion

Information is retained only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, the duration of a pilot or customer relationship, legitimate security and backup needs, dispute resolution, and applicable legal or contractual obligations. Retention periods vary by record type. When information is no longer required, PullWorx will delete or de-identify it subject to backup cycles and legal holds. Pilot customers should maintain their own authoritative project records.

Security

PullWorx uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the preview’s current risk profile, including authenticated access, organization-scoped workspaces, role-aware controls, and controlled document processing. No system is completely secure. Do not send passwords, private keys, payment-card information, government identifiers, protected health information, or other unnecessary sensitive data through ordinary email or upload it unless PullWorx has expressly agreed to process it.

Your choices and privacy requests

Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or information about processing, and to appeal or opt out of certain uses. PullWorx will verify requests and respond as required by applicable law. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted. PullWorx will not discriminate against a person for exercising an applicable privacy right.

Submit a request to alec@pullworx.com with “Data Rights Request” in the subject. Do not include sensitive project data in the initial email.

California disclosures

California residents may request information about categories of personal information collected, sources, business purposes, disclosures, and applicable access, correction, deletion, and portability rights. PullWorx does not currently sell or share personal information as those terms are used by the California Consumer Privacy Act. The CCPA applies only when statutory thresholds and other conditions are met; PullWorx will honor rights required by the law applicable to a request.

Because the marketing site does not sell or share personal information or use cross-context behavioral advertising, it does not currently provide a “Do Not Sell or Share” link. PullWorx does not currently respond differently to browser Do Not Track signals. Where legally required, recognized opt-out preference signals will be honored for covered processing.

Children

PullWorx is a business service for electrical-industry professionals. It is not directed to children under 13, and children under 13 may not create accounts or submit personal information. If we learn that personal information was collected from a child under 13, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

International use and changes

PullWorx is currently offered as a United States private preview. Do not use the service to transfer regulated personal information across borders without a written agreement establishing the required safeguards. We may update this notice as the product, vendors, or law changes. Material changes will be identified by a revised date and communicated when legally required.
